Lauren Ross is the Supervisor for Ramsey County Public Health’s HouseCalls program, which has served the community for over 30 years by preventing homelessness and addressing housing emergencies. The program helps stabilize unsafe or unsanitary conditions, ensuring residents can safely remain in their homes. Collaborating with inspectors and Ramsey County Environmental Health, the team addresses environmental hazards, provides proper cleanup resources, and creates affordable crisis response solutions.
With 25 years as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a career spanning child welfare, psychotherapy, and housing support, Lauren is dedicated to helping individuals achieve stability. Growing up with housing insecurity shaped a deep understanding of home as a sacred space, motivating a lifelong commitment to compassionate, practical support. Through her work, she ensures clients’ basic needs are met, fostering dignity and stability for a brighter future.
