Welcome to New and Returning Members

Regular/Board Membership dues:

Dues are renewed annually. Scholarships are available.

  •  If paying by check, make payable to “Minnesota Hoarding Task Force” and email  mnhtf.org@gmail.com to request the address to mail the check or cash.

Membership Options:

Individual $25

Single proprietor business: $50

Partnership or larger business: $100

Associate: $0

 Scholarships may be available for regular membership.

Types of Memberships:

Regular Membership

A regular member completes and submits an annual membership form and pays their annual dues. Regular Members can vote on decisions voted for by the group and are able to serve on the Executive Board.

Associate Membership

An associate member completes and submits the annual membership form but does not pay annual dues. Associate Members do not have a vote on decisions voted on by the group.

Board Membership

For board membership, a member must be nominated or self-nominated during the end of the fiscal quarter when the present Directors 2-year term expires. The present Board asks for nominations for the Directors of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, for all whose term has expired at that time.  Election occurs at a regular meeting; the new Director of the term must get the majority vote and there must be a quorum as determined via the by-laws.

Membership period

  • The membership year runs from May 1- April 30
  • You may join at any time during the year – (the fee is not prorated).
  • The annual renewal for everyone is May 1

  • Vote at monthly meetings to have a voice
  • Vote for election of officers or become one
  • Use the MNHTF logo on your business website upon annual renewal review by board

Responsibilities

  • Use your talents and contacts to further the mission of the MNHTF – awareness, board development and fundraising
  • Network
  • Regularly attend monthly meetings, (request at least 4 per year)
  • Using person first language and maintain confidentiality of discussions at meetings
