Louise Kurzeka - Speaker on February 2, 2023
The Minnesota Hoarding Task Force welcomed Louise Kurzeka from Everything’s Together. She presented at the education portion of our February meeting.
Helpful Tools, Assessments And Fact Sheets In Working With People Who Experience Hoarding Presented by Louise Kurzeka of Everything’s Together.
Whether interacting with professionals, friends & family members and/or the individual experiencing hoarding, several tools, assessments and fact sheets can be helpful in evaluating the circumstances and communicating with all stakeholders. We will review the ICD Clutter Hoarding Scale and Quality of Life Scale, the Clutter Image Rating Scale, the Uniform Inspection Checklist and other Fact Sheets to learn how each can assist in better outcomes.
Louise Kurzeka has been a Productivity and Organizing Coach for thirty years. She tends to work with people with brain-based differences that lead to disorganization, including hoarding.

Past Events of the Minnesota Hoarding Task Force
The MN Hoarding Task Force has led or participated in a variety of events over the past several years. We have many volunteers who have generously donated their time and skills to community events including safety days, educational forums for community members and professional groups. We have collaborated with groups like NAMI, The Elder Justice Center, first responders, Cities and Counties and more. We have also enjoyed a fundraising-shredding event in our partnership with Shred Right for Good, Summit Investment Advisors, Professional Rehabilitation Consultants and Junk Masters.
We look forward to many more ways to connect with and serve this community and welcome your ideas and partnership in the coming months and years.
