Our Task Force business meetings are now being held in a hybrid format. Business meetings are held the first Thursday unless it conflicts with a holiday. Meetings are from 6:30 and go no later than 8:30 p.m.
Our upcoming meeting will be on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 and we will have a presentation from HOME Line. Amarilis is a Supervising Attorney for HOME Line, serving both English and Spanish speaking callers. She has ample experience working as a trial attorney in housing court, a translator, a union organizer, and on hotlines both in Boston, MA and the Twin Cities . Amarilis will give an overview of landlord/tenant law in MN focusing on repair issues and evictions. That's usually how we encounter hoarding situations with clients. I will then address the services we provide them with, how we can work with their caseworkers, and ways to prevent evictions and/or have repairs conducted in extremely cluttered units.
All are welcome to join! If you are interested in being a part of this meeting please email email@example.com and request and invitation and a link will be sent to you. See you Soon!!
If you would like to join our monthly business meetings (virtually on your computer or by dialing in on your phone), please email your request to MNHTF.firstname.lastname@example.org and you will receive an invitation. The Task Force meets on the first Thursday of the month to conduct business of the group, network with members and visitors, and to share resources and upcoming events.
