February Meeting

Monthly meetings are held the first Thursday of each month. The next meeting is Thur, Feb. 1st, 6:30-8:30 pm

Wells Fargo building

1011 1st St S, Hopkins 55343 

Park in the free ramp behind the building. Look for a sign in the building lobby near the elevator.


+ Visitors are welcome.


+ Member Jenny Berg, Community Relations, at Scene Clean Inc. will discuss the long list of services they can provide their clients. Their hoarding services can vary depending on the client needs. 


+ If you wish to join us at 6 pm for a meal, email us by Jan. 2nd. Meals are from a local restaurant. Cost is usually $5-7. Email: mnhtf.org@gmail.com 

What Does the Task Force Do?

 

We educate the public and families about what hoarding is and is not. We would like to hear about community events that we can participate in with either a short presentation or by hosting a table with information to share. 


We respond to requests for help with hoarding situations. The Minnesota Hoarding Task Force does not offer services. Instead, we use our expertise and connections to share information and options to be considered. If you have a question about a hoarding situation, contact us by phone, email, or on our Facebook page. We keep details of such situations confidential. 


We are developing presentations and informational talks to be used at training sessions for requests that we receive.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to support any person, family, friend or agency in Minnesota affected by hoarding through education, networking and connection to resources while promoting public health and safety.  


We envision communities that implement best practices to support those affected by hoarding where individuals are supported with sustainable options while being treated with dignity and respect.

Who Are the Task Force Members?

We are a volunteer group made up of professionals who work in various fields, as well as individuals who have a personal interest in hoarding. We welcome others to join us at monthly meetings, where we network, learn from each other, and move forward on our mission. We are in the process of applying for non-profit status. One of the ways we aim to educate the public is to simply define what hoarding and "hoarding disorder" are.   

To join as a member of the task force, please come to a meeting and fill out a membership form. Membership can be renewed once a year thereafter. Current members are:
